Design of a Museum and an Art Garden based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi at the iconic Mahatma Mandir. The venue is centre of the seminal Vibrant Gujarat Summit, responsible for the international interest and investment drives in the state of Gujarat. The museum is shaped like salt mound, symbolic of the dandi satyagrah. The cone shaped monument, stands at an extraordinary height of 45mt. An Art Garden with 79 installations each depicting one year from the Mahatma’s life is under development. In the subsequent phase, a spectacular suspension bridge with an actual windmill on top generating electricity is being envisioned. Challenging, complex and probably the first in the world! The project was realized by a specialist team of consultants, artists, vendors and contractors working with VMS.
