Loop 5

RSM Design developed a full branding, identity, and wayfinding program for this unique retail center in central Germany. The Loop 5 environmental graphics program was inspired by the project’s location in an area known for its aeronautical history and production within the aviation industry. The graphics created a cultural bridge from the heritage of the area to a thoroughly modern shopping experience, using many references from the different eras of flight. The specialty graphics centered around a world of aviation and its history created through specialty paving, suspended art features, wall murals, and a unique wayfinding family of signs. Even a full size historic MIG jet hangs from the ceiling of the central atrium and food court to create a one-of-a-kind community meeting place.
