Queens West, Stage II is an urban waterfront park and infrastructure project located on the East River in the Hunters Point section of Long Island City, in the New York City borough of Queens. As the prime consultant for this multiphase project, Abel Bainnson Butz, LLP ABB led a team comprised of ten design, engineering, and environmental firms. The design and engineering scope included the reconstruction of existing bulkheads, new relieving platforms, enhancement of an existing cove which was formerly a boat slip, new streets and all public utilities including storm water outfalls and nine acres of new parkland.
