Fluorescent Staircase [Rand Hall]

Aimed at challenging the conventions associated with those vertical passages that take people up and down between levels, Fluorescent Staircase is an installation that converts otherwise vertically-arranged horizontal planes into rising line segments highlighting the oft-forgotten architectural elements that are equally essential as steps—the balustrade.
