This striking, 5-story, 110,000-square-foot, multi-tenant, office property—Centra at MetroPark—consists of a modernist building composition of dark grey and clear glass and an asymmetrical tree-like column supporting the extended fourth floor, providing a unique structural design element.
As a part of the new graphic program for the renovated building, large-scale environmental graphics were developed for the main building identification. 4-foot high, white outline letters for the building name and address—186 Centra, located on a low-profile pedestal, create a dramatic contrast against the building’s main facade of reflective grey glass and is visible from the main access road to the office park. Individual outline letters and numbers are also used throughout the campus as identification elements for specific buildings and parking areas.
This comprehensive program addresses exterior and interior identification, directional, and retail tenant sign requirements that provide a consistent typographic treatment for all public and non-public information throughout the LEED Platinum certified Centra office building complex.
