Brondesbury Road Extension

The new works for Brondesbury Road related to the extension and reorganisation of the ground floor apartment of a three storey Victorian conversion. The proposal sought to continue the existing rear extension creating a larger more usuable space incorporating a dining area with increased connection to the garden. The scale of the new works remains subservient to the existing property, with the extension itself a single volume extending only at ground floor level. The relationship of its mass to the existing extension and building as a whole remains minimal. Internally, the new extension adds to the existing space to create one single open plan layout. This space provides a new kitchen and dining space with direct connections to the existing terrace.
