CakePHP Developer / LAMP Server AdminWe seek a self-motivated PHP developer with CakePHP and LAMP server administration experience to take over development of our online publication. This developer will be responsible for translating our ideas into features, researching new technologies, recommending online strategies and improving server maintenance. Responsibilities: - Work closely with our marketing and design teams to propose website enhancements - Conceptualize and implement features within existing website framework - Perform routine server maintenance and backups - Test for application bottlenecks and improve efficiency in regards to memory, speed, and process load - Research new technologies which may benefit the website and make recommendations accordingly Required Expert-Level Skills: - PHP 5 (CakePHP framework) - MySQL 5 - Javascript (jQuery framework) - HTML / CSS Additional Required Skills: - LAMP (CentOS, Apache 2, MySQL 5, PHP 5) Server Administration via SSH - Subversion Preferred Experience: - SEO analysis, best practices, and implementation - Social media integrations - Payment processing / custom e-Commerce applications - Graphic design (Photoshop / Illustrator / Fireworks) If interested please email: Employment@ArchitypeMedia.com
